UPS Air Finance and Accounting Career Opportunities

Career pathway for MC Jefferson Community and Technical College Associate of Science or Associate of Arts with an emphasis in Business 2+2 students and the University of Louisville's Bachelor in Business.


Air Region Finance

This program supports Metropolitan College students who complete their first two years at JCTC by earning an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science with a business emphasis before working with ULtra to transfer to the University of Louisville to finish a bachelor’s degree in business. Throughout the program, students gain practical experience in finance and accounting while building professional connections with UPS finance and accounting teams. As they work in these areas, students receive mentoring, develop industry‑relevant skills, and prepare for future full‑time career opportunities.  In addition to supporting transfer students, this pathway also serves UofL students who begin their four‑year business degree at the University of Louisville and want to gain hands‑on experience, mentorship, and career development opportunities within finance or accounting throughout their academic journey.   • Part-Time Sup/Finance and Accounting Analyst: Active MC participants in the pathway, who have a current term MC agreement on file, may be able to maintain MC eligibility while participating in a UPS Finance and Accounting Analyst position.  During the interview process, please let the management team know you are currently receiving MC benefits.

  • Continually update your resume.  Work with a MC Student Success Counselor to customize your resume.  Once you have a good working draft, send it to UPS's Air Finance to gather additional feedback.
  • Job Shadow: UPS offers opportunities for MC Finance and Accounting majors to shadow UPS's professionals.  Take advantage of this opportunity to network and to learn more about future work in the industry.
  • Newsletter: Thoroughly read the UPS's finance and accounting newsletter and follow-up on opportunities and information listed in this important resource.
  • Attend Events:  Attend as many UPS finance and accounting events that you can. This is an excellent networking opportunity and an opportunity to learn about the industry.
