🎉 Celebrating Our First Elementary Education Career Pathway Scholarship Recipient!

Â
We’re excited to announce our first scholarship recipient in the Metro College Elementary Education Career Pathway! Mckenna Reinhardt is the first MC student to reach the final semester of the program, officially qualifying for two major benefits, both received only during the final semester in the program:
- 💰 $2,000 Commonwealth Credit Union Teaching Certification Scholarship
- ✅ 25% Tuition Discount
These benefits are designed to support students during their final semester, when they transition from working at UPS to full-time student teaching.
This milestone is a huge step forward for the Elementary Education Career Pathway, which is available to Metro College students attending the University of Louisville and have declared a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. The degree offers six specialized tracks, including options for early childhood education, individualized studies, and dual certifications in special education. To learn more about the 6 tracks please visit: Elementary Education (BS) | University of Louisville Academic Catalogs
If you're a Metro College student interested in becoming a teacher, this pathway could be a great fit for you — and you could be eligible for these same benefits when you reach your final semester!
