Information session for current and incoming JCTC and UofL students who are interested in learning more about the MC program and benefits.

Join MC Student Development Counselors, UPS recruiters, and Commonwealth Credit Union (CCU) as we review our partnership at both Jefferson Community & Technical College and the University of Louisville and present the following:

  • MC program benefits and eligibility, including the UPS LOOP housing stipend benefit at JCTC
  • UPS hiring process and employment opportunities
  • CCU and our High 5 financial education program including budgeting and ways to grow your wealth

Information session for current and incoming JCTC students, who are interested in learning more about the Automotive Technician Career Pathway. This program provides a seamless pathway for students to obtain an Automotive Technician credential while receiving 100% paid tuition and employment at both UPS and a local automotive dealership.

STW Session

Information session for currently enrolled students in the School To Work program for the 2020-2021 academic year or a parent/guardian of a current School To Work Student who are interested in learning more about the MC program and benefits.

MC Live Information Session for School to Work Transfers (1-hour)

Join a MC Student Development Counselor and UPS recruiters as we review our partnership at both Jefferson Community & Technical College and the University of Louisville and present the following:

  • How to transfer from a STW UPS position to a MC UPS position

Q&A Live Chat Sessions for School to Work Transfers (1-hour)

Join Renecia Griffie Davis, MC Student Development Counselor in a Q&A Live Chat session. Please come to the session with questions, as there will be no formal presentation. No audio available for these sessions. Attendees can initiate a chat by simply typing a message in the Q&A window. You are welcome to attend the full session or drop-in at any time the session is open.

This session will offer you an interactive opportunity learn about how to get started with the Metro College program and get real-time answers to general questions such as eligibility requirements, the transfer process, and how to defer tuition payment at Jefferson Community and Technical or the University of Louisville starting with the fall 2021 semester.

UofL MC Returning Students

Information session for students who have signed at least one MC agreement but have stopped out of school for more than one semester who are interested in re-enrolling at the University of Louisville.

Join MC Student Development Counselors, UPS, and UofL to learn about the following:

  • UofL programs ideal for working adults
  • UofL programs that give you college credit for your UPS training and work experiences
  • New financial resources to support your return to UofL, particularly for students with a past due balance
  • Steps to re-enroll at UofL. As a MC student your re-application is FREE!
  • Steps to re-enroll in Metropolitan College benefits to attend UofL for FREE!
  • Connect with UofL, MC, and UPS staff that can help you successful navigate the process.
