MC 25th Anniversary

Since 1998, Metropolitan College, a partnership between UPS, UofL, JCTC, Louisville Metro Government, and Commonwealth of Kentucky, has provided more than 22,000 students the chance to earn a college degree tuition-free while earning a UPS paycheck.

Metropolitan College Day at the University of Louisville Football Game

MC students are invited to watch Cardinals football in action at L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium in celebration of Metropolitan College’s 25th anniversary.

Discounted tickets to the 3:30 p.m., Sept. 23rd, football game vs. Boston College are available for Metro College students.

Student tickets are $15 and can be purchased via the link sent to your school email account on 9/12/23.

Students will be asked to confirm either their UofL or JCTC email address to purchase tickets. Tickets will be issued from a block of seats reserved for Metro College students.

The Metro College anniversary will be recognized on the field during the game. We hope you’ll be able to join us to celebrate the students and staff who make Metro College a success.

Metropolitan College (MC) Faculty and Staff Appreciation Week recognizes faculty and staff at our partner institutions for their support and engagement in the lives of Metropolitan College students. Stop in and pick up a gift, coffee, and try our signature MC drink. Metropolitan College and UPS staff are looking forward to showing our appreciation for your hard work in celebration of MC’s 25th Anniversary.

Two local icons - UofL and UPS - helped alumna TaShara Brown earn a free college degree and discover a thriving career in her hometown. The first-generation college student is now an operations supervisor at UPS, taking her Cardinal education to new heights. Partnerships such as Metropolitan College fuel success for UofL and the city of Louisville, allowing Louisville natives like Brown to make an impact here and beyond.
