Metropolitan College and ULtra

Recently, ULtra announced a change to their services beginning Fall 2017. Due to ULtra's unique partnership with Metropolitan College (MC), JCTC MC students will continue to receive academic advising free of charge.

  • Application fee waiver ($50 savings)
  • Lock into UofL degree requirements at the time of admission to ULtra
  • Semester articulation of credits to UofL's Student Information System (SIS)
  • Semester degree audit
  • Automatic consideration for a KCTCS scholarship (potential $1,000 value)
  • Automatic consideration for Reverse Degree
  • Metroversity priority registration
  • Eligible to live in UofL Affiliated Properties (Cardinal Towne and University Pointe)
  • UofL Cardinal Card (TARC access, Student Rec Center (SRC) access at UofL, UofL Libraries access, purchase UofL Football/Basketball tickets at student rate, fitness classes, and participation in Intramurals)

All MC students have the option of enrolling in the enhanced ULtra program beginning Fall 2017 for a $40 per semester fee. This fee is NOT COVERED by MC benefits.
