Announcing the 2020 Outstanding Metropolitan College Student Award Winners and Finalists

Metropolitan College is pleased to announce the winners and honorable mentions of the 2020 Outstanding Metropolitan College Student Award. The Outstanding Metropolitan College Student Award was established in 2013 to recognize the workforce achievements of student participants working third shift at UPS to access a tuition-free post-secondary education. The recipients of the award must demonstrate outstanding leadership, work-life balance, and academic success.

Nominations were accepted in February and reviewed by the Metropolitan College Student Development team and UPS management. Each year during the spring semester, the schools hold a special on-campus awards ceremony to honor and recognize students for their outstanding achievements.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Louisville announced department awards during an online ceremony on April 16, 2020. Jefferson Community and Technical College is evaluating plans for future recognition. Winners were mailed a custom engraved award plaque and runners-up received an honorable mention on the Metropolitan College website.

Metropolitan College congratulates all winners and honorable mentions on this outstanding achievement!
